Hifax polypropylene resins based on the Catalloy process from LyondellBasell are used by customers in applications such as building and construction (e.g., single-ply roofing), industrial applications (e.g., wire and cable) and also automotive industries through both our resins and our well-known Hifax polypropylene compounds.
Hifax is proven to provide customers with good processability, excellent impact resistance, a broad range of stiffness from very soft to rigid products, high temperature resistance and low linear coefficient of thermal expansion.
Softell is a soft touch polypropylene resin based on the Catalloy process technology from LyondellBasell.
LyondellBasell offers a wide range of Softell materials which provide customers plasticizer free solutions, excellent haptics (“soft touch”), good temperature resistance, good compatibility with other polyolefins and outstanding toughness and scratch resistance.
Typical industries using these resins are automotive, electrical appliances, hand and power tools, furniture, specialty compounding and TPO skins amongst others.
